Send your wedding bouquet, a birthday bunch, or blooms grown in the studio garden. Every petal is logged and photographed before we begin.
Dried, pressed and arranged
Flowers are slowly dried and carefully arranged by hand. AK builds the composition around each bloom's natural shape, color and character.
A keepsake, made to last
Your finished piece is carefully checked, wrapped and shipped across the USA. A piece of that day, kept for good.

The studio process
How each piece is made
Slow, small batch craft. No two are ever alike.
Poured
Wildfire rescued acacia and walnut are shaped by hand, then flooded with hand tinted, food safe ocean resin.
Pressed
Real California flowers, many grown and pigmented by AK herself, are dried, arranged and set into clear resin.
Finished
Each piece is cured, sanded, oiled and optionally engraved, then gift wrapped and shipped across the USA.

Akkshata Kulkarnii
Resin artist, horticultural scientist and environmentalist based in San Jose, California.
AK extracts her own pigments from locally grown flowers and captures the balance between chaos and harmony found in nature. TalkingThymme also builds a creative livelihood for immigrant women.
